Locals Closet returns with its second highly requested community gathering: an intimate Accessory Swap & Shop paired with a designer-led bracelet-making workshop, artisan activations, and ceremonial cacao, hosted at The Huntress in Pound Ridge.
Taking place on Saturday, January 24th, the event invites local women to step into the New Year with intention, creativity, and connection. Hosted inside The Huntress — a beloved boutique destination in northern Westchester — the afternoon blends personal style, ritual, and community in a warm, winter setting.
Join the Locals Closet Swap & Shop
Guests are invited to bring accessories from home to swap, re-home, and exchange with other locals in the community while discovering thoughtfully curated pieces from local designers.
Accessories to swap may include:
— Metals: necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets
— Fabrics: scarves, bags, winter accessories
The Swap & Shop runs throughout the afternoon, offering space to release what no longer resonates and make room for pieces with new meaning.
Artisan-Led Workshop & Immersive Experience
At 3:30 PM, guests will participate in a guided Haute Energy bracelet-making workshop led by founder Kim C. Participants will learn how to bead and craft a custom bracelet using thoughtfully selected stones and crystals — such as labradorite for transformation, black obsidian for grounding, moonstone for self-care, and clear quartz for clarity — to take home as a wearable intention.
The immersive experience includes all workshop materials, ceremonial elements, and take-home items, creating a meaningful and hands-on afternoon rooted in ritual and creativity.
Flora Vintage Embroidery Experience
The event also features Flora Vintage, a curated vintage retailer founded by Brooke, whose collection is informed by years of traveling and collecting. Flora Vintage represents a shift away from throwaway culture, honoring aesthetics, craftsmanship, and our planet through timeless pieces with history and soul.
Guests will receive complimentary custom embroidery with a purchase from Flora Vintage, featuring limited-edition designs created exclusively for this event. Vintage handkerchiefs and select fabric pieces may be customized on-site, offering a personal keepsake from the gathering.
Ceremony, Cacao & Connection
Ceremonial cacao — a traditional, non-alcoholic cacao drink used to encourage presence and connection — will be served as part of a guided intention-setting ceremony. Guests will be invited to sip cacao, set intentions for the New Year, and ground the experience through reflection and guided meditation.
Each guest will take home a ritual tool kit and guided meditation, extending the ceremony beyond the event itself.
Throughout the afternoon, guests are encouraged to gather, connect, and meet other locals — fostering new relationships and creative connections for 2026.
