Creative Encounters: Mary Coldsnow
What began as a mutual introduction through Nosotras Supper Club turned into an unexpected creative journey with Miami-based designer Mary Coldsnow. From casual happy hour conversations at Joia Beach to a spontaneous content shoot on her friend's yacht—armed with just an iPhone and good vibes—it’s been a flow of inspiration, laughter, and beautiful storytelling.
The following week found us sipping red wine, twirling pasta, and dancing to country music in Mary’s South of Fifth apartment—an eclectic, cozy space she’s now putting up for rent while she travels for production scouting. Amid all the fun, we managed to execute a dreamy 35-minute photoshoot at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, where I got to step in as the muse. Surrounded by misty trails, flowing streams, and the wild abundance of green, it quickly became my new favorite Sunday ritual: impromptu photoshoots.
As a sweet exchange, I walked away with a swimsuit from her latest swimwear collection, which I had the chance to capture on my recent trip to Puerto Rico. Photos coming soon.

COLDSNOW Swim x Locals Closet: From Miami to Playa Negra, Vieques
I’m wearing the Miami to Amalfi Triangle Top and Miami to Amalfi Thong Bottom by COLDSNOW Swim, a South Florida-made, women-owned brand we’re proud to feature in Locals Closet. Though this set is named after the iconic Italian coastline, our adventure led us to something just as magical: Playa Negra on the island of Vieques — a hidden black sand beach that feels like a sacred little secret.
To reach the beach, we took a golf cart down winding jungle paths that opened into something unexpected and beautiful — Playa Negra. A heart-shaped stone in the sand greeted us, a quiet symbol of protection and welcome.
With the waves crashing nearby, I swapped out my shorts for the bold, movement-ready COLDSNOW swimsuit. Designed for women who lead with confidence, it felt like both armor and art — sleek, powerful, and intentionally made.
The look flowed easily from jungle ride to beach shoot: a bright sarong as a cover-up, then straight into the water. No fuss, just function and style — exactly what COLDSNOW Swim is about. This wasn’t just another content shoot. It was personal. Shot by Say Less Photography, this moment brought together story, style, and sisterhood. I wasn’t just wearing a brand — I was wearing the work of a friend and creative I deeply admire.
